Slow Cooker Java Roast Beef

This simple roast beef has a gravy that’s everything!

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs. Pot Roast
  • 6 cloves Minced Garlic
  • Salt/Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 1/2 cups Freshly Brewed Coffee
  • 2 tbsp. Corn Starch
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions:

  1. Liberally rub roast with garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add to slow cooker, along with coffee.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours.
  4. Move roast to another dish to keep warm.
  5. Add juices to a medium sauce pan and move to stove and bring to a boil.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine corn starch and cool water to form a slurry.
  7. Add slurry and cook until gravy has thickened to the preferred consistency.
  8. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
