Beef Jerky
Delicious beef jerky that sure beats store-bought (in taste and in price!)
Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. Thinly Sliced Beef Bottom Round
- 2 tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Meat Tenderizer
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Curing Salt
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp. Liquid Smoke
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp. Molasses
Instructions:
- In a large container, combine all ingredients, ensuring that meat is thoroughly coated.
- Marinate for 24 hours.
- Dehydrate in a dehydrator on high for 4 or more hours until the level of desired tenderness is achieved.
