Cold Oven Cream Cheese Cake
This cold oven cake is moist and delicious!
Recipe
Ingredients:
Cake
- 3 Sticks (1 1/2 cup) Butter (softened)
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese (softened)
- 3 cups Granulated Sugar
- 3 cups All Purpose Flour
- 6 Eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Butterscotch Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1/2 Stick (1/4 cup) Butter
- 1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 4 oz. Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
Cake
- Do not preheat oven.
- Cream together sugar, cream cheese, and butter in a stand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined.
- Slowly add flour until well incorporated.
- Spread into loaf pan. Place into cold oven, set to 325º F, and bake for 1 hour – 1 hour 25 minutes.
Frosting
- In stand mixer, blend butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add cream cheese and vanilla, and blend until a frosting texture is achieved.
- Spread onto cooled cake.
