Soft and Chewy Spice Cookies
These spice cookies have all the ginger snap flavor but are soft and chewy! Enjoy these during the winter holidays or year-round.
Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Sticks (1/2 cup) Softened Butter
- 1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/2 cup Molasses
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Ground Ginger
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Ground Dry Mustard
- 1/8 tsp. Ground Cloves
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- In a large bowl, beat together sugars, butter, eggs, molasses, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.
- Add dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Add rounded tablespoons of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 350º F for 12 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are golden.
