Beef Jerky

Delicious beef jerky that sure beats store-bought (in taste and in price!)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. Thinly Sliced Beef Bottom Round
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Meat Tenderizer
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Curing Salt
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp. Liquid Smoke
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Molasses

Instructions
 

  1. In a large container, combine all ingredients, ensuring that meat is thoroughly coated.
  2. Marinate for 24 hours.
  3. Dehydrate in a dehydrator on high for 4 or more hours until the level of desired tenderness is achieved.
